What is Supported Independent Living (SIL)?
Supported Independent Living (SIL), sometimes referred to as shared accommodation, provides support or supervision with daily tasks that may be challenging. At A to Z Support Services, our mission is to help residents achieve their goals by building everyday living skills in a supportive, community-focused, low-cost, and centrally located environment.
As an SIL provider, A to Z Support Services offers short- and medium-term supported accommodation, as well as Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) packages combined with care services. These supports are designed to maintain and gradually increase your independence.

NDIS Funding for SIL
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides funding to eligible participants for Supported Independent Living. This funding covers the supports and services delivered within the home—such as carers, supervisors, and assistance with daily living—but does not include rent or general living expenses.
If you are interested in securing NDIS funding for supported housing services, contact us today to find out more about your eligibility and how we can support your journey toward independent living.
